WASHINGTON – This week, Congressman Mark Messmer introduced a resolution to
provide Congressional disapproval of the Biden Administration’s harmful Department of
Energy rule that applies overly stringent energy conservation standards for commercial
water heating equipment.

“This overreaching rule from President Joe Biden’s Department of Energy adds unnecessary
and burdensome costs on the backs of hard-working Hoosiers and all Americans,”
said Congressman Mark Messmer. “By passing this resolution, Congress will block this
‘Green New Deal’rule and prevent these extraordinary burdens from driving up market
prices in the water heating industry while we in Congress work to reset the destructive
Biden economy.”
